Returns - 120 Day Return Policy

Return Policy

Returns must be made within 120 days of the invoice date. All returns must be in re-sellable or like-new condition. Defective parts or parts sent to you in error will be exchanged or refunded in full. Returns after the 120 day return period will be subject to a restocking fee. Other warranty and exclusions apply.

 

How to Return an Order:

Return A Part Using Our Online UPS Return System

 

1. Return the part in the original box with the invoice number marked on the outside.

2. Package the returned items properly. When shipping merchandise back to us please wrap the items, place in a sturdy box, and secure with tape. Do not leave items loose in the box. Parts that are scratched or damaged during shipment due to inadequate packaging will not be accepted.

3. Include the completed return from with your return. Outline the part number you're sending back, why you are sending it back, and whether you would like a credit, a refund, or an exchange. If choosing an exchange please mark the part number you would like to exchange for on the Explanation Line. Download Return Form.

4. All returns must be sent pre-paid. We strongly suggest using the pre-paid return label included on your invoice for use with USPS. If you do not have the label you can download it here: Download USPS Return Label. For larger items you can fill out and download a UPS label from our website here: Download UPS Label.

Note: Use of the pre-paid return labels is for your convenience. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your credit or refund. $7.99 for packages up to 20lbs or $12.99 for packages over 20lbs and/or oversized merchandise. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or 10% or refuse any exceptions. For defective parts or ones sent in error, return shipping charges will be refunded in full.

5. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss or damage during shipment.

6. If not using either the USPS Label or UPS label send all returns to J&P Cycles ®, 13225 Circle Drive, Anamosa, IA 52205.

7. We cannot accept returns on special ordered or As-Is parts.

F.A.Q.

1. Multiple Items

When returning multiple parts please make sure that they are individually wrapped to protect them against scratches. Use as much of the original packaging as possible. If you are packaging hardware in the same box as the large item, please secure the items in a way to prevent the larger item from being damaged.

A. You cannot return items from multiple orders in the same package, each order is independent.

B. Do not leave any parts out, if you do your return will not be processed. This is very important when returning a kit of any kind.

2. Returning Seats

Seats, once mounted, cannot be returned. Returned seats must be in like-new condition with no evidence of wear or mount marks. Be careful to check fitment before mounting your new seat.

When checking fitment of the seat, place a cloth under the seat, do not bolt down the seat. Carefully set the seat on the bike to check fitment.

3. Returning Windshields

Windshields once mounted cannot be returned. Returned windshields must be in like new condition with no evidence of wear or mount marks. Be careful to check fitment before mounting your new windshield.

4. What NOT to Do

A. Do not leave loose items in the box. Securing them properly will ensure parts will arrive back in "like-new" condition. Scratched and broken parts will not be accepted.

B. Do not use just any tape to seal the box. Use tape specifically designed for shipping. Tape ALL seems on the box as boxes tend to "loosen" during the shipping process.

C. Do not put too much weight in an envelop to prevent it from ripping.

D. Do not return parts that were not purchased at J&P Cycles.

E. Do not return heavy items with items that may break during shipment.
